What changes when you convert HEIC to PDF
- PDF is lossless, but it cannot restore what HEIC already threw away. The file will be larger, often much larger, with exactly the same picture in it.
- PDF has no transparency. Transparent areas are filled with a background colour (white by default, though you can pick another).
- HEIC can carry HDR and 10-bit colour; PDF cannot. Highlights are tone-mapped to standard range.
- Each image becomes one page, at its own size or fitted to A4 / Letter. Drop several images to get a single multi-page PDF, in the order you dropped them.

Keep HEIC for staying inside the Apple ecosystem. What iPhones shoot. Half the size of JPG at the same quality, but Windows and the web struggle with it.
Do not convert to PDF hoping to improve quality: the detail HEIC discarded is gone. Convert only when a tool insists on PDF.

No. The conversion runs in your browser with WebAssembly. There is no upload endpoint on this site. You can open your browser's Network tab, or go offline after the page loads, and it still works.
Is there a file size limit?
No fixed one. The limit is your device's memory: a large images file on a phone is slower than on a laptop, but nothing is rejected for being big.
Is it free?
Yes, without an account, without a daily cap and without a watermark. Your device does the computing, so there is no server bill to pass on.
Will the quality drop?
No. PDF is lossless: the images content is stored exactly.
Can I convert several files at once?
