Convert PDF to an editable Word document

Paragraphs, headings, bold, italic, links, tables and images, rebuilt as a real DOCX in your browser. Your PDF is never uploaded.

🔒 Nothing is uploaded. Check the Network tab of your browser: it stays empty.

How to

  1. Drop a PDF.
  2. Convert: each page is read and rebuilt as Word paragraphs and tables.
  3. Download the .docx and open it in Word, Pages, Google Docs or LibreOffice.

Frequently asked questions

Will the Word document look exactly like the PDF?

Close, not identical. Text, headings, fonts, bold and italic, links, tables and images come back editable, one Word page per PDF page. Text colours, floating text boxes and figures drawn as vector graphics are not rebuilt. Online converters that promise pixel-perfect results do the same reconstruction; they just do it on their server.

Is it safe for contracts and confidential documents?

Yes. The PDF is read and converted inside your browser and never sent anywhere: open the Network tab of your browser while it converts, nothing the size of your file leaves.

What about scanned PDFs?

A scan is a picture of text, not text. Scanned pages are kept as an image of the page so the document stays complete, and the result tells you how many there were. Text recognition (OCR) is coming.

Why here

The file stays on your device. No upload, no queue, no size limit, no account, no watermark. The engine is the same reference software professionals use, compiled for your browser.
